To the people of France, I am truly sorry for your continued lack of success. The depression tore at your government, leading to its fall in 1934, and the rise of the socialists and communists. Nice!! The economy is a mess, contrary to what your blogger says, due to union demands.
Now the Germans have conquered France in what seemed like a blink of an eye. And to think that we thought you would be the worlds first line of defense. The Germans are saying Maginot means "welcome" in French! And where is your courageous Brigadier General Charles de Gaulle - he is in England hiding in someone's basement, where he sent a radio address to all of you still in France urging you to resist the Nazi's - easy for him to say! Leadership - I think not.
