Responce to Editorial #3

Hello, Jonny Greenwood here again. I would like to say that I agree entirely with The Daily Mirror. Hitler’s army has seemed unstoppable in the past, but the spot that the Allies are holding in France seems to be able the seriously cripple the Nazi army if not destroy them entirely. I am personally very proud of what the Allies are trying to do when they know they are horribly outnumbered by Hitler’s seemingly unstoppable military force. The pictures that have been published in every newspaper published in my hometown show that the Maginot Line is extremely durable. It appears that that Allies have been preparing for many bombing raids and attacks from tanks. The Maginot Line is complete with everything from machine gun posts, to supply routes, all the way to cannons mounted on the side of hills surrounding it. Hitler should be worried attacking something as powerful as this.

Your Fellow Soldier,
