Response to Editorial #5

I did warn you about the oncoming attack, Josef. Germany movements had suggested that they would attack. I can’t comprehend why you wouldn't have seen it either. Hitler is playing a risky move- attacking such a vast country so close to winter. Most people know that Russia gets terrible during the winter season. My question is why he would take on one country as immense as Russia is, when Hitler has taken countries slightly smaller. Secondly, I would try and take as many as I can to insure I could get the biggest army I could get, and then attack the largest. Usually Hitler ideas, tactically, are accurate, but with what he is doing now, they have fallen off-course. I have a very good felling this is because of losing. Bit of a short-tempered chap, if I do say so myself. Now while I agree that normal people wouldn't fight for someone who has mistreated them, Russia has always, and will forever be complicated. Why would I think this? Stalin has an army, not as big as Hitler’s but still it is a brigade. Stalin, I will have your side during Operation Barbarossa. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
