Kathleen Brockington Response to Mission #4

For once the army understands.  Looking back on some of America’s previous wars, the army has pushed their solders too hard.  America was and is still known as the big dogs, so obviously they have to play their part.  They recruit so many of the American men to fight these horrible battles with them.  It made it worse for having created the draft system.  Granit so many lives went into fighting, and a good number came out, but too many lives were lost.
It is a great change of pace to see America letting some of their soldiers return home.  It is bad enough that these men-these boys have to go to war, but that multiple siblings are going together.  Think about the mothers of these soldiers… they have to live with their sons going into war let alone not coming back.  Like I said, I am so glad that America understands what the life of these parents are like.
