Erwin Rommel- Editorial #6

As a leader of a German force no one would ask me about FDR. i hear all about him on the radios. I think what he's doing with America is great. He got them out of a huge fall in market. I can compare him to Hitler in how he got his citizens out of such a huge mess. I respect FDR as a leader and hope he can end his neutralness and help us in the war. We could really use it because we just lost to Britain and now are attacking Russia. I don't know a lot about what's going on in America because I'm still in Africa and we don't get very good signal out here in the desert. All I hear is how good of a President he is. I do sort of like the idea of a democracy but you too many other brains trying to think of something else. In Germany we have one leader who takes charge and makes the decision. Hitler makes decisions to help his country and I think FDR is doing a great job of the same.

Response to editorial 6 - Benito Mussolini

FDR doesn't know what its like to be in a war never mind start one. The world is at peace and all FDR wants to do is start a war and disturb us. He should unite with us instead of rebel against us. Together we will be stronger than if we are apart. Japan was just trying to make their country bigger in preparation to unite with us and the rest of their world. And the Americans who want to be part of this, this thing that is bigger than you. Don worry lither and I will soon free you of FDR.

Avere una buona notte compagni, e ricordare. Siamo piĆ¹ forti come una sola.

Erwin Rommel- Editorial #5

As I hear from our radios. We are attacking Russia. After Germany suffered their first loss to Great Britain, we have sped up our plans and are now attacking our ally, Russia. We had to do it sometime, they were a big threat and a huge country. They could of attacked us at any moment. Since Russia is such a giant country i believe it's going to be very hard to move through it so quickly. It's going to take time. I think Russia will be a very tough opponent but i think we can beat them in less than a year. I hope in the meantime Great Britain doesn't attack us because then we would have to fight a war on two fronts which didn't go so well in WW1. WW1 gave me a ton of ideas on how to fight wars now and the  ideas really help when your fighting against such opponents like Russia.

Response to editorial 5 - Benito Mussolini

Hitler has just saved the lives of many victims to the monstrosities known as communism and oppression. Josef Stalin's oppression will end in Russia alongside communism and many other threats to Hitler and I's great plan. Russia now has the chance to unite with us so we can move and work as one offering strength through community and strength through discipline. Together we will unite as one.

Avere una buona notte compagni, e ricordare. Noi spezzare le catene dell'oppressione.

Good evening, this is Jonny Greenwood again. My small town has just received a new shipment of Daily Mirror. And I was very excited to read what the author had to say until… I read it. Franklin D. Roosevelt has only done good in his presidency. And what is supposed to do about the extensive bombing in Great Britain. He and The United States are trying to stay neutral. And what good would it do to send Hitler a telegram saying to stop bombing Britain. And while I do wish President Roosevelt had just deported the Japanese citizens, he had every right to do so. He was only ensuring the safety of the other American citizens. How is President Roosevelt supposed to know that the Japanese citizens aren’t going to try the attack the White House because of the conflict with Japan? Have a wonderful evening.

Your Fellow Soldier,

Adolf Hitler is the worst person in the world just like Joseph Stalin. Hitler is just sucking up to everyone and putting the blame on everyone else. He is an evil person for killing all these people and taking almost over the whole world. Both of them created huge problems for the world. Joseph did the same thing, just a Hitler did. If Hitler didn’t backstab Stalin they could have taken over the world together and then even had a bigger plan to kill everyone and be one huge country. But after a while one of them would have to take over eventually. But this is a big problem in the first place that happened. He wants should be happy with what he has instead of getting more and more. Someone or something has to stop thing killing and everything else that he is doing right now! There is no purpose in not doing anything.

Response to Editorial #5

I did warn you about the oncoming attack, Josef. Germany movements had suggested that they would attack. I can’t comprehend why you wouldn't have seen it either. Hitler is playing a risky move- attacking such a vast country so close to winter. Most people know that Russia gets terrible during the winter season. My question is why he would take on one country as immense as Russia is, when Hitler has taken countries slightly smaller. Secondly, I would try and take as many as I can to insure I could get the biggest army I could get, and then attack the largest. Usually Hitler ideas, tactically, are accurate, but with what he is doing now, they have fallen off-course. I have a very good felling this is because of losing. Bit of a short-tempered chap, if I do say so myself. Now while I agree that normal people wouldn't fight for someone who has mistreated them, Russia has always, and will forever be complicated. Why would I think this? Stalin has an army, not as big as Hitler’s but still it is a brigade. Stalin, I will have your side during Operation Barbarossa. Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
~Winston Churchill

Response to editorial #6

I have mixed feelings about FDR. He did sit back and watch while Hitler threw family after family into concentration camps. Then again is it FDR’s job to stop that? I believe that it was the LON job to put a stop to Hitler and his plans before they got this big. He like most people did not want to go to war once again; he waited it out as long as he could. He was right by doing that it wasn’t our business to get involved in. FDR’s choice to pack the court is unlike any I have heard of before. His ideas were helpful, in most ways they did more good than harm. FDR is a well-rounded person and I believe he is doing well for America.

The daily mirror is completely wrong. If president Roosevelt (FDR) did not enter the war, Hitler could have easily taken over the world with all of his power. When America and FDR entered the war after Japan attacked us, we could not do very much right away, but after a couple of weeks we were doing everything we could. We have been doing everything we could for a long time because we were in the Depression and FDR got us out of that. Franklin D. Roosevelt once said “When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on”. This is a huge part of what America had to go though and FDR held on to what mattered the most and never gave up. He never gave up on helping us through the depression and also Pearl Harbor. He will never give up on stopping Hitler and also stopping ww2

In a way the Daily Mirror is right!  FDR did not help England at all when it came to the attack on London!!!  I was horrified for my family and friends.  He had no idea what is was like for me to hear that siren.  Every time my heart would stop hoping that everyone would be able to make in the sewers in time.  My father barely made it alive one day.  He was put in the hospital and we could not afford it much longer.  As you can see London desperately needed the United States help, but we did not get it.  I thought London and America was close but I guess not.  Looking back on you FDR you are just as selfish as Hitler.  You only do what is best for other countries and you do not look back towards your friends.  You could have really stepped up to the plate and you could have made yourself known.  You can only blame yourself FDR…

Kathleen Brockington response to Editorial #5

Does Hitler not know how to be happy with what he has?   I do not think Hitler needs the whole world for the German people.  And what is with Hitler stabbing his own ally in the back?  I guess friendship is not high on his lists these days…. Hey Eva.  I would watch out on this whole relationship thing with Hitler because it does not look like he is in for any kind of commitment.  At first Hitler was just a passionate leader but now it has turned into something else.  Now it is: you are not German GET OUT!!!  Now Hitler has turned his back on everyone.  He has now turned his focus to getting rid of everyone else.  Oh and Hitler why you are at it, why do you just go and attack Italy and Japan.  I mean why not.  What is the difference of attack them than it is to attack Russia?
Well ladies and gentlemen, i believe you all now see what the Mirror has to say about America's leader. He's old, he's weak, and should not be in office for too much longer. FDR is not the amazing president he used to be. The time of the axis is coming, it will not be subtle, it will not be stopped. FDR has made America weak, and they werw the Allies only hope. The world will belong to Hitler, us, and Italy. Nothing can defeat us. Bring it on sweetiepies!!!

Editorial #6- Markus Engel

I very much agree with The Daily Mirror.  FDR is not the brightest man, it seems, when it comes to government.  He doesn't even come close to the rule of Hitler.  The American people deserve way better than this lazy coward.  He needs to make decisions faster and help his country, which in my opinion is doing neither.  How could this man be democratically elected more than once?  It just doesn't make any sense.  If the American people want better, they should get better.  But it is their own fault for electing him.  He may have sounded like a good candidate at first, but now he is failing America.  There has to be someone who is more qualified to be the President of The United States.  Maybe I'm wrong here; maybe the Americans think he is a great president.  I don't believe this though.  I do, in fact, believe that the people of the U.S. could do much better.

Eva-Response to Editorial #5

"Like a knight in shining armor, Adolf Hitler..." Hitler is a brave and amazing knight. He is also very kind. I could not imagine what Germany would be like without him. He helps everyone, too. Even the soldiers out at war. He always talks about making sure the camps aren't seen and making sure they are hidden. He wants to keep his soldiers safe. He's so kind! Of course, I don't know why he says camps, I think it would be less confusing to say soldier camps. Someone might get it confused with another kind of camp because there are many camps in the world, but I'm not one to tell the greatest man in Germany and in the world how to speak. He knows well enough how to speak on his own. Hitler says Germany is doing well, so that is good, but he is so worried about Germany. It puts a lot of stress on him; he wants Germany to succeed. I just hope he can take a little time off of work every once in a while.
Sincerely,
       Eva Braun

Good Afternoon, this is Jonny Greenwood again. I recently read the article in The Daily Mirror about Hitler’s Operation Barbarossa. And I wanted to give all of you my own opinion on what Hitler has done this time. I have to say that I saw all of this coming. Hitler has done this numerous times with other countries. He uses them for the short amount of time that he needs them and then he stabs them in the back forgets they ever existed. And this is no exception. Hitler used the Soviets to take over Poland, and even gave them half of the country. And now, because the Nazi party wants to rule the world, they are taking out the most powerful country they know of beside themselves. This is not a minor invasion. This one is big. So big that it is impossible for anyone to ignore. Maybe this Nazi invasion will have consequences.

Your Fellow Soldier,

Joseph Stalin-Response to Editorial #6

I was ok with FDR not helping the Nazi but now I think he should do something. He should get America in the war to defeat the Nazi. If Russia and Great Britain lose the Nazi will come for you FDR you won’t have help and lose. If you help this horrible war can end. But if you do nothing soon your citizens might walk outside and see a Swastika flags on their door step.  We now you love your country so do something about it before it gets worse.

Joseph Stalin-Response to Editorial #5

Hitler was a great ally but he has turned his back on me and now it is on Hitler will never take Russia away from me. For giving German supplies and a bunch of material for them to win the war they now use those weapons on us I am so mad.     The Ukrainians should be giving be parades and celebrations when I walk in their towns and not those filthy Germans.  I treat my citizens with respect I don’t treat them like dirt no they are all like me treated nicely. Communism will never end we will fight back until they are driven back to Germany. The Soviet Union is war bigger than the Nazi so we have a bigger advantage of winning. I will always be ruler of Russia my ruling will never end I say never. If the Germans want a fight then a fight is just what they will get.

Response to Editorial #5

Hitler back stabbing Stalin is no shock to me at all. Russia was a threat to Germany being as big as they were. Hitler had this planned from the start; he knows exactly what he is doing. I also think Russia knows what they are doing and will not go down without a fight. Maybe this is just what the war needed for things to start changing. I wish war would end its so much stress and pressure on everyone. The lives lost are many and the damage done is plenty. Seeing people come to you in such a weak state you do everything you possibly can for them. I hope this is the turning point and it does come to an end shortly. I am sure I am not the only one who is hoping this stops soon.

Response to Editorial #6

See, in my opinion, I believe that FDR is a hero AND a villain. My reasons are simple:

Hero because he is staying neutral, aka not at war against me. He wants to keep his country safe, which is kind of funny, because I wish to demolish him someday. However, he has pride in his country and doesn't want to see it in ruins. I feel the same way. But seriously, when are we Germans going to have our country in ruins? It could happen. That's why I think he is a hero.

On the other hand, FDR is a villain. He thinks that if he stays out of the war, everything will be okay. If it were me, I would have asked for a declaration of war a long time ago. I would have feared that my country would be destroyed. I would have been killed for not letting us go to war to protect the place we call our home. Well, that's all I have to say about that, because I know FDR is reading this. But when has he ever listened to me? Think about it.

Goodbye fĆ¼r jetzt, Freunde (Goodbye for now, friends)

Response to Editorial #6

FDR or President Roosevelt can easily be considered as one of the biggest heroes of the United States. What this man has done for this country and what he is continuing to do is simply unbelieveable. He single handedly took this counrty out of the Great Depression by his own ideas and his own work. Sure he had some controversial ideas that some people dont agree with, but how could you disagree? This man is a true american hero and will forever live on as one. Of course people from other countries dont like him. They are all jealous that we have such a great leader and hero. We have been staying neutral during this European standoff  this long because we just came off ine of the worst depression of outr country in years. He is sinmply doing what is right and I dont understand how someone could judge gim for his actions and call him a "villain".

With full scale war already taking place, this news barely suprises me. What Russias next move will be makes me curious. The soviets and the Germans seemed like such an unstoppable war juggernaut that is simply amazes me that Hitler would make such a move as this. This will be quite fight to watch in the oncoming months. I would not be suprised if Russia ended up staying nuetral and doesnt even take sides with Britain and France. Stalin isnt exactly the most caring guy so I  could see him taking his own country and kepping them nuetral. This does make me incredibly nervous though. If Hitler takes Russia he could focus ALL his troops on Britain and the land we now know as Europe could very easily be known as Germany. Hitlers 3 pronged attack could very well be a turning point in this strictly Euopean war. As the United States we will try to stay as nuetral as we can sending supplies to our allies of Great Britain.

Anne Frank Response Editorial #6

I find it true what they say about FDR. He kept on giving mixed signals, and it was hard to understand what he was doing. In my opinion, he needed to show that what he was doing was a solid and trustworthy choice. And to think what he did to the Japanese people who settled in America! They weren't even part of Japan anymore. How can he be in office if he can't even trust his own citizens? I do not like FDR, but that is only because I am not American and do not know what he has done to help them out. I still think he needs to decide what he is to do. To me, he needs to understand what is going on and go from there. That is all I have to say.

Mitsuo Fuchida editorial #6

HA! Democracy was an idiotic idea to begin with. Just look at where it got America now, a horrible leader who can't do anything to help his own country or his own allies. He should just kill himself for treason. That is what our leader would do. Honor the Bushido code. Our military leaders were the best idea ever... except for becoming allies with the most amazing man in the world, my hero, Hitler. If you ask me America killed its self the day it became a country. They have only gotten worse by having that fool of a leader who can't fight a war, can't get his allies any help, or even go to his own speeches. That "leader" doesn't deserve to call himself a president.
                                        ~ Commander Mitsuo Fuchida

Mitsuo Fuchida editorial #5

Hitler, my hero, most have some plan behind this. He would not have done this with no good reason. Communism is just another form of government so it must be crushed by Germany. His army is so grand that there is no way that Hitler could lose. The only thing that would worry me would be the fact that Russia is a vast land... Luckily all of the major cities that need to be taken are close to Germany. If only I could be there to help but my mission  is here in the Pacific not at Eurasia. Germany just has to win and don't you worry Hitler. I will make sure your plan for us succedes. I will be with you in spirit Hitler.

FDR has over stepped his boundarys completely. While Great Britain was being bombed by Germany FDR sat back and did nothing about it. While innocent people were being killed he thought it was no big deal that Great Britain was being bombed by Germany everyday for at least a month. FDR should have stepped in and help Great Britten and stop Germany from invading Great Britain and stop him from making any more moves on other country's who just want peace.

Bernardo Carlon- response to editorial #5

Joesph Stalin watch out. Germany is such a strong country and has a very strong army who can deafeat you and your country. Your people dislike you as their leader and they want a new leader.Communist will be soon be over taken by Germany and your people will be happy with Hitler.Good job Germany!

Josef Mengele Second Response to Editorial 5

The Soviets don't deserve to take up any more space that we have the right to. Now that America has joined the war we will crush even the slightest trace of communism.  The government should be about efficiency not equality, people who work hard should get what they deserve. Stalin is controling and almost nobody in his country respects him. Hitler is highly respected and actually deserved and won his place in office. As for Stalin, he had Lenin's succesor thrown out of the communist party in order to become the leader of the country. Not to mention the people, who strongly supported him, that he placed in high positions in the govenemnt, to insure that he became the leader of the Soviet Union. Once again look out Russia here we come.

Response #2 to editorial #6

As i said before our so called friendship is breaking. I was outraged that FDR planned cuts to military spending. I told FDR:

“When we lose the next war and an American boy is writhing in pain in the mud with a Japanese bayonet in his belly, I want the last words that he spits out in the form of a curse to be not against Douglas MacArthur but against Franklin Roosevelt.”
FDR replied “Never speak to the President of the United States that way.”

I was so mad after he told me he was going to cut military spending. The military has a specific amount to spend so that we can train with weapons and win the war with weapons!

Now FDR, I am not the only man out there that is mad about your decision. You have just lost many of your "followers". So FDR I would start making the right decisions and listening to the people that voted you into office.

Anne Frank Response Editorial #5

How can they celebrate? To me, I would fight my own problems and not let Germany take over my homeland. Joseph Stalin can be taken down by his own people. They don't need Germany to do it for them. In my mind, it is another way to get more land for Germany. Hitlar is vain and wants it all, in my opinion. After all he has done, why would they trust him? That remains a mystery to me. But, truth be told, I do not live there, so I can not imagine what is going on in their minds, how they must feel to becoming free of Stalin. Nobody truly understands what goes on in a person's mind. What will happen if Hitlar gets all three inportant cities? Who will be next?

Response to Vasilli Saitsev

The only people that Hitler has betrayed is the Soviets and that is just because they deserved it.Hitler and I are great comrades since people completely turned on Germany and we didn't even get any credit for winning after the Great. And who says we are not prepared? Did you not notice how prepared we are by seeing or at least hearing about the attack on Nanking and Pearl Harbor? Why wouldn't we be prepared? If anything, you should be scared of Germany and us . And America is no threat. I'm just scared(for America) that America is going to lose so many people  that it won't even be a country anymore. You also mentioned our code of honor.WHAT WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING IN!?!?! "Hmm, why does Japan chop their citizens' heads off?" YOU SOUND SO STUPID ASKING THAT QUESTION!! BECAUSE THEY HAVE DISHONORED THEIR FAMILY, THEIR NATION, AND THEIR CULTURE!! DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!!!!!!! I HAVE SAID THAT STUPID SENTENCE SO MANY TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!! (cough) Ahem! Sorry, frog in my throat. I have been allies with Hitler since-well you would know that if you read the top of this paragraph, and he is in fact given us something. He has given us hope and acknowledgment. And from now on, listen to what I say or read carefully of what I write. I said that our oil supplier is now Manchuria, which is a benefit to Japan for invading Manchuria for two reasons. One, just the fact itself that we invaded Manchuria and got oil. Two, the fact that we now no longer require to pay for our oil from anyone, not just America. Therefor, we do not need to do anything about America not supplying us our oil. we do not need them. As I said before, we will not lose the war and with the information  I just  provided, I think- well i hope you can figure out why our empire will never get crushed. Also, I am going to have to warn Germany's troops that they need to be on the look-out for a man hiding underneath a blanket.
                                            Your comrade,

Response to Hideki Tojo

What have the soviets ever done to you? If anything you should be scared of Hitler because if he wants even more living space in eastern Asia you are right over there so maybe he will betray you. Hopefully he does it when you are unprepared so that you can get a taste of your own medicine from Manchuria and Pearl Harbor. Tojo you just worry about your problems with AMerica because you sure do have your hands full. Your code of honor is to be the best warrior you could ever be even if that means you only kill one person, well i don't believe that counts when you are chopping the heads off of innocent civillians. Tojo why all of a sudden are you best friends with Hitler? It's not like he has given you anything. America supplied you with so much oil. What are you going to do now that you do not have any oil suppliers anymore. Tojo i don't just want to see you lose this war but iwant to see your empire get crushed within all of that happening.

Response to editorial #5

Well Hitler you have finally done it. I can not believe you could just backstab us like that. You should not have done that because now you must fight Great Britain, America, and of course now the Motherland. You could not even beat Great Britain with all of your planes now you think you can fight them and two new big countries AT THE SAME TIME?! Hitler I thought you were smart, but i guess i was wrong. All of my comrades and i will keep fighting until either all of your army is dead or until all of my comrades and i are dead. We will proudly die beside eachother. I will defend Stalingrad with everything I can. You do not understand my ability to end lives. I will use it a lot to defend Stalingrad. To all the German soldiers in Stalingrad, You better be careful when you walk out into the open because i will ALWAYS be watching even when you think you are safe you won't be.

Dear Daily Mirror,
I would like to formally tell you that Franklin Delano Roosevelt is a great man. if you see what he has really done he was doing the good thing. yes he was a little late to help England but there was a reason behind all that. here in America more than 75% of the population doesn't want to go to war so he is 100% aloud to wave his neutrality flag around. i mean give him a break he has been through more than any one should.  in case you didn't know we did help Britain we gave them guns secretly but that was still helping them. heck we even sent American fighter pilots over to help. so what if you thought that they were British they had to dress as a British fighter or else we would have been dragged into world war 2. yes it was bad for him to single out all the Japs but still he had the right because there were spies in America and that was the only way to contain the spies. and BTW he packed the court so he could help America get better laws to help us out of the depression. so please back of Franklin Delano Roosevelt he is better than you think. i holly disagree with you.

Hitler what do you think your doing!!! your blitzkrieg was perfect until now. why would you ever spread your troupes so thin. you have stretched your army beyond your limits. first of all you do have a large military but if you haven't realized by now Russia is BIG and i don't mean that sarcastically. now that you have made it to the three major cities and your as thin as paper you are losing too many troupes because you don't have enough you can barely fight the Russian army. they are taking you out for every 1 Russian 10-15 Germans because the know how to fight in their land and you don't. if you would take some advise if you are to take a vast country like Russia take your army and make big movements don't split your army up bring it together. if you did this you would have much more ease getting Stalingrad, Moscow, and Leningrad. if i were you i would take my advise not just because its the right thing to do but it will help you in the long run. no offense but you are being stupid. next time think.

The Daily Mirror while I admire your views, I must put some things straight. First, FDR is trying to do the best he can to get America back on its feet. We have covered it in Arcadia, but none of you except FDR would know what I’m talking about. Hitler would also be doing what most would call packing the court. Or killing the court, whichever you prefer. Tojo, the only reason I put up with your ramblings is because I have many points to express. First, wouldn't you agree, that history repeats? The First World War happened, and then another World War appears. So wouldn't it be logical that we would win, again. So, to put it simply, War may be happening, but it must end one way or another and the Allies will still win. To add on, The Daily Mirror, the attack was a sly move and from a tactical standpoint- it was well planned. For the wrong cause of course. Many people will look upon that day with guilt. FDR is doing all he can to insure his countries safety. Country leaders would know.

Eva-Response to Editorial #6

Dear The Daily Mirror,
This is Eva Braun and I agree with you. There is only one great leader in world history and his name is Adolf Hitler. I bet if you put out an editorial asking who the best leader is Hitler would win because he is the best man and leader in Germany and in the whole world. I don't understand how people could not love a gentleman of a certain age with a funny mustache and carrying a big felt hat. He's so loveable, and he loves children. How can you not love someone who loves children. Also, he cares about the soldiers. Sometimes he talks about making sure no one sees the camps and I'm sure he's talking about where the soldiers sleep. Isn't he sweet! He cares about everyone, even the poor. As I have said before Hitler is the only great leader.
Sincerely,
          Eva Braun

Response to Editorial #6

I think Franklin Delano Roosevelt is a very good man. The only main reason I like him is because he called me "the most dangerous man in America". I take that as a complement. he also said he saw me as a "potential man on horseback. Someone who in a time of terrible economic disarray come to the fore and would try to seize power by extra constitutional means." HE respected me as a military leader.
Our fire controversy between us helped him win the election in 1932.

When FDR was reelected he kept me as Army Chief of Staff. I was so thrilled he kept me at that position. I thought that our temporarily "friendship" would end when he became president. It did go down hill.

Josef Mengele Response to Editorial 6

The Daily Mirror you couldn't be more right. Franklin Delano Roosevelt is an awful president, his methods are almost communistic. His performance looks successful because when he entered office, both the economy and the stock market were overdue for a cyclical recovery (nothing goes straight down forever). Leaders need to be decisive, lead by example, and be able to take responsibility for their actions. As far as I'm concerned FDR possesses none of those qualities. His indecisiveness of staying neutral was because he wasn't   willing to make a mistake, as for leading by example; packing the court, really? If America had a different president I might be worried that America could actually beat us in the war.

Hideki Tojo- Editorial #6 HAHA!

HAHA! FDR you are a coward to Japan, not coming after us like a "World Police" nation would. The only reason you entered this war was because of us and the only reason you are going to get out of the war will be because of us. How could you put those innocent Japanese people into concentration camps what the heck did they ever do to you! You know, for that you will regret your actions. I should put all the American citizen tourists and vacationers into concentration camps. Do you really think that you deserve to be president for all the trouble you have caused! I completely do not agree with you being a bystander to Britain, your ally, being bombed. If I was you, I would've just attacked Germany right away (Not that i would do that to Germany). I would already be involved in the war. Death before Dishonor. The big question that I have for your country is why would you cresy people vote for this freak!? FDR read my lips 'FDR you should be the leader of your country and start being the example!'
                                     Your comrade,
                                                  Razor.

Editorial #6 - FDR - Hero or Villain?

Today we discuss the American President - Franklin Delano Roosevelt

Once in a while, a leader comes along that changes their country - revolutionizes their people.  In the opinion of the Daily Mirror, FDR is not this person.  He was to slow to act when Japan was attacking Nanking.  He waffled back and forth and waived his neutrality flag while country after country fell to the Nazi war machine.  Britain's own people were living underground during the Battle of Britain while German airplanes relentlessly bombed the men, women, and children - and what does FDR do?  With his mouth, he rages on about the free world and the threats of fascism while with his hand, he signs the Lend-Lease Act.  Indecision WAS his decision.  He has placed his own Japanese citizens in internment/detention camps.  He has taken too much power within his own government and has used it for his own gain - and he has the nerve to preach about the will of democracy?   Packing the court to pass your laws?  No thanks!

The Daily Mirror fully supports America.  They are our trusted ally.  However, the Daily Mirror believes that the American people deserve better.

Readers - I'm anxiously awaiting your responses.
