General MacAuthur has reported that as we were cruising around the south pacific a small disagreement took place on and around the island of Midway. We really, really like that island. I heard that you lost (meaning sunk) alot of hardware to include;
4 Aircraft carriers (Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, and Soryu), yes that's right 4 Aircraft carriers! That is going to leave a big hole in your Navy, for sure.
1 Big cruiser (Mikuma)
Heavily damaged - big cruiser Mogami
332 fighter planes
You know what I think, we can be very successful going against your military forces!
Golly jee, we don't even have our full Naval fleet yet - since our repairs at Pearl Harbor are not completed yet. Hmmm...I like this island hopping approach, plus I get a tan.
