Newsblast #5- Markus Engel

     The Germans sounded like they were doing great at the beginning of this battle.  But after a while it sounds like they didn't give it their all and apparently let the Allies get past them.  How could they let them get through?  I know it was a hard task, but I believe the German army could have kept the Allies from cracking the Atlantic Wall.  Maybe they needed more machine guns along the beach.  They should not have even let the Allies get to the bluffs!  This could cost the Axis the whole war!  Hopefully that won't happen.  I think if they worked hard enough, the Germans can get this war back.  It will take a lot of strength, but we need to beat the Allies.  We just can't let them win!  I wish the best of luck to the Germans!
