KAthleen Brockington Response to Editorial #10

I do not think Benito Mussolini should be killed.  Yes he did all those horrible things to the people of this world, but who would I be if I turned around and killed him?  That would make me a hypocrite.  This whole entire time I have been saying how Hitler and also Mussolini are such horrible people because they are taking out the human race.  But if I were to go out and kill Mussolini, what kind of a person would I be?  Also I would never be able to live with myself.  I am not like them, I cannot go around killing people and thinking it was right of me.  I would feel terrible.  So that is why I am saying no to murdering Mussolini.  Let him die on his own terms, maybe he does not deserve it, but guess what.  It is not up to me.  I do not know every little detail about this man, but I do know this: death is on its own clock, unless we turn it back…

P.S. It would be different if he died fighting, but is that the case?  Now he is just fighting for his life.
