Editorial #8- Markus Engel

The Daily Mirror is right when they say that 'island hopping' will be hard for the Americans.  Their form of attacking will take a lot of time and energy.  The Americans will become tired and weary after 'island hopping'.  There are too many islands to do such a task.  They aren't strong enough to do the job.  The Japanese are strong and have brave hearts.  They don't give up easily, which will make the Americans have to work hard to get to their goal.  I really admire the Japanese way of fighting; they fight with honor and dignity.  I'm glad to be on their side.  They don't give in because they believe that it is unjust.  They sacrifice their own lives for what they believe in, and would rather die for freedom than surrender.  With their heart, they can't be stopped!  Good luck to America trying to get through all of their skill, courage, and bravery.  I don't think they can do it.  This task will overwhelm the United States.
