Dictator Benito Mussolini rescued from Gran Sasso by his own people.
As you may or may not know, Mussolini was captured and imprisoned as the United States invaded Italy. The former Italian King resided on the throne of Allied Italy as the U.S. troops fought tooth and nail through Monte Cassino.
The Daily Mirror believes that the successful rescue of Mussolini is an abomination to the human race.
Mussolini who is allied with Germany's Hitler has allowed Germany to systematically execute Catholics, the official faith base of the Italian nation. Yet, Mussolini sits in quiet approval of the holocaust. He is a man that has little charisma and few virtues. This editor believes that Mussolini is not fit to lead. His own "soft underbelly" has been penetrated and he is no longer a strong enough leader.
