It is not even the beginning of the
end. Perhaps the end of the beginning. Before The Daily Mirror suggested that the Russian army would fall under
Hitler. However it seems that they are still holding they’re own. Your
editorial suggested that Hitler’s army, and weapons were freezing under the
cold. Yet, it had no mention of Stalin’s army. This leads me to believe that
the Russians are actually holding they’re own. America is ready for anything,
for they had grown, and therefore able to take on bigger challenges. Britain
and I have faith that the United States will be able to take on anything that
crosses their path. They have beaten those who have crossed them before. Tokyo
Rose, you said that the Japan people have stood behind you. I agree- I agree
they have been hiding behind you in fear. Your own Isoroku Yamamoto said they
have awoken the sleeping giant, and that they have. Tread carefully, for he does not like to be woken.
