FDR response to Charles De Gaulle

Charles, Charles, Charles...you do not seem to be a student of your own history. From what country did the settlers that landed in Canada, and those that eventually settled across the mid section of what was to become the United States all the way to Louisiana? Let me help you - OMG, it was the French! We appreciate your assistance as we formed a new nation. Not only that - but you took over (conquered) a third of Africa, India, and some Carribean islands. It also seems strange that you would be so confrontational with a country that you may eventually need help from. Because Charles, your country seems to be on a losing streak - you have lost most of your colonies due to losses to Britain in numerous wars. You do not seem to be a partner material, so I will focus on building a strong relationship with Britain and Winston Churchill. I hope Germany does not invade France!!
Again, you do not know what you speak of, and in all honesty you are boring me.

Let me repeat, I hope Germany doesn't invade France, Charles
